4 Danny's Pitas
500g firm tofu
½ cup dry breadcrumbs
2 eggs
½ teaspoon oregano
Black pepper
½ cup parmesan cheese
2 crushed cloves garlic
1 minced onion
2 cups Dolmio spaghetti sauce
½ cup grated mozzarella cheese
Mash up the tofu with your bare hands (the best part) until it resembles cottage cheese.
Add the herbs, breadcrumbs, garlic and cheese. Add the ingredients through to the onions, mix well. Form into little balls.
Bake in a 180°C oven until brown.
Add Dolmio spaghetti sauce and cheese, bake until sauce is hot and cheese is melted. Put under the grill briefly to brown cheese, if desired.
Serve inside Danny's pita bread.
